Instructions

Step 1
Brown rice, carrot and onion in butter until tender and rice is browned. Add water, bouillon cube and make sure the bouillon cube dissolves and is mixed in. Cook (covered) until rice is done and water is absorbed. May need to add more water. Cook about 20 minutes.
Step 2
I sometimes add chicken tenders or pork chops on top of rice. before I cover the pan.
