Instructions
Step 1
Tear bread into 1-2 inch pieces and place on a baking sheet.
Step 2
In a small bowl, melt butter and add oil, garlic powder, onion powder, and parsley. Stir to combine.
Step 3
Drizzle butter mixture over bread pieces and toss to coat evenly.
Step 4
Place baking sheet on center rack of the oven and turn oven to broil. Toast the bread pieces until the tops are golden brown, then remove from the oven, and stir. Return to the oven to broil. Watch carefully, this will only take 3-5 minutes.
Step 5
Stir again, and then remove when nicely toasted on all sides.
Step 6
Serve the croutons over soup or salad. Tastes best served immediately after baking.
