Instructions
Step 1
In a 2 or 3 quart stainless steel saucepan, lightly saute the onions in the olive oil over medium heat until translucent.
Step 2
Coarsely chop the tomatoes, then add tomatoes and puree to the sauteed onions. Add the garlic and seasonings and bring to a simmer.
Step 3
Stir occasionally to prevent anything from sticking to the bottom of the pan and burning.
Step 4
Lower the heat and simmer the sauce uncovered, for about 20-30 minutes.
