Baked Ham with Brown Sugar Glaze

Instructions

Step 1
Allow ham to come to room temperature for 1-2 hours before baking.
Step 2
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine pineapple, brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger, and cloves and cook for 3-5 minutes, stirring frequently.
Step 3
Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Line a large roasting pan with aluminum foil and spray with gluten-free nonstick cooking spray
Step 4
Place ham cut-side down in prepared pan
Step 5
Brush 2 tablespoons glaze onto ham. Reserve remaining glaze for later. Cover ham tightly with a tent of aluminum foil. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Remove ham from the oven and remove aluminum foil
Step 6
Increase the oven temperature to 400 degrees. Brush remaining glaze over ham. Return to oven and continue to bake for 15 minutes until internal temperature reaches 140 degrees. Allow to rest for 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
