Pumpkin Cinnamon Rolls with cream cheese frosting

So good! However this time I didn’t have cream cheese for the frosting. I just did the easy powdered sugar, milk and vanilla frosting. And I’m a little heavy handed on the pumpkin spice I just like the extra flavor.

4 cupsall-purpose flour
⅓ cuplight brown sugar
1 Tbsppumpkin spice
⅔ cuppumpkin purée
¼ cupbutter
½ tspsalt
2eggs

1 Tbspinstant yeast
¾ cuphalf and half
warmed 100 -115F, or substitute with milk

Instructions
Step 1
To a glass measuring cup, combine instant yeast with warm half and half (or milk). Make sure the liquid is between 110-115 degrees F. Check the directions on the back of the yeast package to see the exact temperature for that yeast.

To a mixing bowl, combined flour, brown sugar, pumpkin spice, pumpkin purée, butter, salt and eggs.

Combine the milk and yeast mixture with the rest of the dough ingredients and run mixer ( or hand mix) for 5-7 minutes to form a ball of dough.

Cover the mixing bowl with plastic wrap. Leave dough to rise for an hour or until it’s approximately twice it’s size.

When ready preheat oven to 400 degrees F and spray ( or use butter) on a 9x13 pan. Lightly flour your countertop to roll.

Roll the dough into a 16”x20” rectangle that is approximately 1/4” thick. Coat with softened butter from edge to edge. Mix the rest of the filling in a bowl mix well and sprinkle it over the butter.

Carefully roll your up your cinnamon rolls. When it looks like a log then cut in half then down by half’s until you get you desired size or 12 cinnamon rolls.

Place your rolls on the prepared pan and bake for 15-20 minutes. If you like it a bit gooey definitely check at 15 minutes.

While the cinnamon rolls are cooling mix all the ingredients for the frosting. Add 2-3 Tbsp of half and half one Tbsp at a time depending on how you like your frosting.
