Ingredients

6 tablespoonsbutter
softened
1 cupbrown sugar
packed
2 tablespoonsfrozen apple juice concentrate
thawed
1 teaspoonvanilla extract
1egg
1 ½ cupsflour
½ teaspoonbaking soda
½ teaspooncinnamon
¼ teaspoonsalt
¼ teaspoonnutmeg
¼ teaspoonground cloves
1 cupwalnuts
coarsely chopped, california
½ cupwalnuts
finely chopped, california
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly grease 2 baking sheets or line with parchment paper.
Step 2
Cream sugar and butter together in a medium bowl. Add juice concentrate, vanilla and egg; beat until light and fluffy.
Step 3
Mix dry ingredients then stir into butter mixture; stir in chopped walnuts.
Step 4
Drop tablespoons of dough onto baking sheets then sprinkle with finely chopped walnuts.
Step 5
Bake for 12 minutes or until cookies are set and lightly browned.
Step 6
Let cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
