Instructions
Step 1
Soften one package of yeast in .5 cup of warm water
Step 2
Sprinkle with 1 Tbsp sugar. Let stand.
Step 3
Heat one cup of milk to lukewarm
Step 4
Add .5 cup of sugar and .5 cup melted butter
Step 5
Combine 2 beaten eggs and .5 tsp salt with yeast
Step 6
Stir in 4.5 cups of flour. (Add more if needed)
Step 7
Let rise until double in bulk
Step 8
Roll out and cut into circles
Step 9
Spread softened butter over half of each circle, then fold in half to seal.
Step 10
Place, barely touching, on a cookie sheet. Let rise again.
Step 11
Bake at 375 degrees for 15-20 minutes
