Instructions
Step 1
1. Cut the green onions into 1 inch pieces.
Step 2
Cut chicken into bite size, about 1 inch cubes.
Step 3
Preheat grill over medium-high heat.
Step 4
Thread cut pieces of chicken and green onion on bamboo skewers.
Step 5
Once the grill is hot add the skewers and cook for 5 minutes. Flip over and cook another 5 minutes. Make sure inside is not pink.
Step 6
In a frying pan, medium heat. Add soy sauce, mirin, sake, sugar. Whisk until sauce is slightly thickened.
Step 7
Add chicken skewers to the sauce, and coat skewers with the sauce well.
Step 8
Serve immediately with additional sauce.
