Ingredients
4 servings
2 lbsflank steak
thinly sliced against the grain
2 Tbsolive oil
1 ½ cupbeef broth
2 TBSginger
minced
1 cupcoconut aminos
2 Tbstoasted sesame oil
1 teaspoononion powder
¼ tspcrushed red pepper
0.5 tpssalt
¼ teaspoonblack pepper
2 TBSminced garlic
2 crownsbroccoli
broken into florets
2 Tbscornstarch
2 cupswhite jasmine rice
Instructions
Step 1
Heat 1 Tbs oil in large skillet and sear (not fully cook) flank steak.
Step 2
Combine beef broth, ginger, coconut aminos, sesame oil, onion powder, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper.
Step 3
Add a bit of oil to instant pot, and with instant pot in sauté mode, add garlic and cook for about a minute.
Step 4
When garlic is fragrant, add beef broth mixture, as well as beef and juices from skillet to instant pot. Close lid, set to sealing and cook 10 minutes.
Step 5
While beef is cooking steam broccoli.
Step 6
When beef is done, add cornstarch to thicken and then add broccoli to the instant pot.
Step 7
Serve over 2 cups white jasmine rice.
