Instructions

For the dough

Step 1
Mix yeast, warm milk, sugar. And let it rest for 5 minutes.

Mix all the rest of the dough ingredients (except the butter) with the yeast mixture. Mix till it’s not sticky and then at the butter.

Mix 5 minutes till the dough is smooth and not sticky. Otherwise at a tablespoon flour if needed.
Step 4
Let the dough rest for 1 hour. Then punch the dough to remove excess air. And divide the dough in 10 pieces.
Step 5
Make balls of the dough. Cut 6 snips in the balls, so that it gets a pumpkin shape.
Step 6
Let the pumpkin balls rest for 30 minutes.

For the filling

Step 7
Mix the butter and powdered sugar till it’s smooth and fluffy.
Step 8
Add the pumpkin puree and herbs
Step 9
Put it in a piping bag

For the pumpkin donuts

Step 10
Fry the donuts in oil (180 degrees celsius/350F), each side for 1-2 minutes.
Step 11
Let them cool down completely, otherwise you’re filling will melt.
Step 12
Poke a hole in the bottom and fill it with the piping bag.
Step 13
Roll the donuts with both sides in the cinnamon sugar. Cut the chocolate into sticks. Push the chocolate stick into the donut.
