Instructions
Step 1
Preheat baking sheet and oven to 450°F (205°C).
Step 2
Toss asparagus with a generous helping of butter or oil.
Step 3
Place asparagus on one side of the pre-heated baking sheet. Make sure they’re in a single layer with a little space between them.
Step 4
Roast asparagus for 3 minutes.
Step 5
Toss shrimp with the minced garlic and olive oil.
Step 6
After the three minutes, add the shrimp to the other side of the baking sheet in a single layer.
Step 7
Sprinkle asparagus and shrimp with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
Step 8
Return the sheet to the oven and roast for an additional 5 to 6 minutes, until shrimp are cooked through.
Step 9
Plate with black/wild rice and serve immediately.
