Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 450⁰F (232⁰C)
Step 2
Mix yeast sugar and warm water, let sit for 10mins till foamy
Step 3
Add flour and salt to yeast mixture and mix until just combined. Knead in mixer for 5mins until smooth and soft (not sticky)
Step 4
Cover and let rise for 30mins
Step 5
Cut dough into 8 pieces
Step 6
Whisk baking soda and water and microwave for 1min
Step 7
Roll 2ft strings of dough, and dip in baking soda mixture and fold into pretzel shapes
Step 8
Let rise on baking paper for 10 mins
Step 9
Bake 9-10mins, or until golden
Step 10
Brush with butter and sprinkle salt right out the oven
