Instructions
Step 1
In a 3 qt saucepan, dissolve sugar in cider over low heat.
Step 2
Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
Step 3
Reduce heat from boil and simmer uncovered for 20 minutes
Step 4
In an adequate size bowl or container pour cider through a strainer to remove the spices
Step 5
Serve hot in punch cups or mugs with cinnamon stick stirrers.
Step 6
if necessary, return the remaining back to the sauce pan on very low heat to keep warm for refills
