Instructions
Step 1
Boil string beans for 10 minutes (use a vegetable bullion, no salt) removed beans and set aside, add cubed potatoes to water; continue boiling till potatoes are tender; (save water)
Step 2
In fry pan render cubed bacon till crisp, remove bacon and leave fat; add a few tablespoon of flour, a dash of salt and some pepper and cook till a light brown; add some of the potato water and stir, keep adding some of the water gradually until desired thickness and return fried bacon into mixture.
Step 3
Pour over mixture of string beans and potatoes
