Instructions
Step 1
Cut up all the vegetables and sprinkle on salt. Let this sit for 30 minutes so that the liquid is drawn out. Rinse the vegetable a couple of times then squeeze out the excess liquid and transfer to a bowl.
Step 2
In a separate mixing bowl, add sugar, hot water and salt. Let this dissolve and cool to room temperature. Pour this over the vegetables and add the vinegar. Cool in the refrigerator and serve in 1-2 hours. Let it sit longer for best results.
