Instructions
Step 1
Pat dry beef chuck roast if needed. Lightly season it with salt and black pepper on both sides.
Step 2
In a large pot, heat oil over medium high.
Step 3
Sear both sides of chuck roast till golden brown.
Step 4
Add all 3 mix packets.
Step 5
Add water.
Step 6
Add all vegetables.
Step 7
Bring to a boil. Cover and reduce heat to low. Simmer for 3 hours or till meat is tender. Check occasionally and add a little more water if needed to keep beef immersed at least 2/3 of the way. Maintain a low boil the entire time by adjusting heat as needed.
Step 8
Garnish with parsley.
Step 9
Serve with crusty bread or rice. Enjoy!
