Instructions

Step 1
preheat the oven to 375 degrees fahrenheit.

line two large baking trays with parchment paper or a baking mat.

melt the butter in a small saucepan on medium heat. whisk occasionally until the butter has lightly browned.

pour the melted butter in a large mixing bowl and whisk in both the sugars.

add the eggs and the vanilla and continue to whisk.

in a separate mixing bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda, and salt. slowly add in the wet ingredients, and stir until it has a dough-like texture.

add in the chocolate chips and mix until they are fully incorporated into the dough.

use a tablespoon or cookie scoop to spoon out the dough, then roll into balls and place on the trays about 3 inches apart. chill for 15 minutes in the fridge before baking.

bake for 10-12 minutes, then let cool for 15 minutes before enjoying.
