Step 1

Melt Butter and grind vanilla wafers to make a crumb crust. Mix and press hard into a large springform pan.

Step 2

Cream together thoroughly with a mixer: Cream cheese, 3/4 cup sugar and lemon juice. Add 3 large eggs and beat well.

Step 3

Pour into crust and bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove from oven and cool 45 minutes. (Important)

Step 4

Mix sour cream, 3/4 cup sugar, and vanilla. Pour over cooled cake. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Remove.

Step 5

Cool to room temperature. Then refrigerate and cool thoroughly.
