Daim Bar Chocolate and Banana Loaf

This is one of my favourite simple bakes, use up those bananas that may be on the turn. A cake the whole family will love.

Instructions
Step 1
1: Whisk the sugar and eggs for a few minutes then whisk through the butter, fold in the bananas. Sift in the flour, cocoa powder and baking powder then fold through gently. Scatter in two of the smashed up Daim bars and the chocolate buttons then combine.

2: Transfer to a lined loaf tin then scatter over the last Daim bar. Bake in a pre-heated oven set at 170c / gas mark 3 for 1 hour.
