Jasmine Rice and Baked Salmon with Garlic and Worcestershire Sauce

Instructions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 200°C.

Rinse the jasmine rice in cold water and drain.

In a medium pot, add the rice and water. Bring to a boil over high heat.

Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 20 minutes until the rice is cooked and the liquid is absorbed. Leave it for 5 minutes.

While the rice is cooking, prepare the salmon. Wrap the salmon fillets in paper towels to absorb as much moisture as possible, and place them in a baking dish.

In a small bowl, whisk together the minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, olive oil, salt, and pepper.

Dip the salmon fillets in the bowl, making sure they are evenly coated, and place them back in the baking dish. Pour the remaining sauce on top of the fillets.

Bake the salmon in the oven for 15 minutes.

Divide the cooked jasmine rice among four plates.

Place a baked salmon fillet on top of each plate of rice.

Garnish with chopped parsley and lemon wedges, and serve immediately. Enjoy!
