French Onion Pork Chops
I made this up using ingredients I had on hand & it ended up being a family favorite. Measurements & times may be off a little because I made it up as I went.

Instructions
Step 1
Melt butter in large pot over med high heat.
Step 2
Heat oil in large skillet over med high heat.
Step 3
Add onion to melted butter, when translucent add french onion soup, water (or broth) & worcestershire sauce. Stir, cover with lid & turn heat down to medium
Step 4
Season pork with pepper & sear in the skillet for 2 mins per side. Remove & add to the pot with the french onion soup.
Step 5
When all pork chops are seared & added to the soup pot, bring to a simmer, cover & let cook 30 - 45 mins. Tilt lid during last 5-10 mins to allow soup to thicken to a gravy consistency. Serve with mashed potatoes.
