The recipe is from preppy kitchen i just replaces the white sugar with molasses
And the chocolate chips with chopped chocolate

Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 170 c

Step 2
In a bowl mix the flour , baking soda and salt
Step 3
In a mixer add the room temperature butter and beat till soft

Add the sugar and molasses and mix for 1 min
Step 5
Add the egg and vanilla and mix
Step 6
Add the flour and mix but don’t over mix
Step 7
Add the chocolate and nuts and mix by hand
Step 8
Store in fridge for 1 hour or overnight for best results
Step 9
In a baking sheet form balls and keep separate by 1 inch You should be able to make 24 balls
Step 10
Bake in oven for 10 minutes or less depending on your oven and ball size ( remove when you see the sides start to change color)

Step 11
Let the cookies rest and sprinkle with salt flakes (optional)
