Instructions
Step 1
Sear onions on medium heat in a 1/2 tbsp. of butter (or olive oil. I REALLY like the taste this option creates!) for 10-15 mins, turning every now and then, until slightly browned on bottom.
Step 2
Then sprinkle a pinch of sugar to create a caramelization effect. Continue to cook for 5 more mins. Turning every so often.
Step 3
Squeeze 1-2 tbsp. of ketchup, 1/2-1 tbsp. of BBQ Sauce (optional) and 1 tspn. or (1 squirt) of Sriracha or Hot Sauce. Mix together.
Step 4
Add in cinnamon. Then let cook and caramelize for 2-4 mins. USE FOR ANY RECIPE. OR TO ADD AS A TOPPING OF YOUR FAVE FOODS!
