Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350˚F.
Step 2
Grease a 9” square baking pan.
Step 3
In the top of a double boiler set over hot water, melt the chocolate with the margarine and stir until glossy and well combined
Step 4
Remove the pan from the water and let it cool slightly.
Step 5
Using the paddle attachment on a standing electric mixer, beat eggs and sugar on medium speed until lemon colored.
Step 6
Add the melted chocolate mixture and beat until well combined.
Step 7
On low speed, beat in the matzo cake meal and salt.
Step 8
Stir in chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
Step 9
Spread the batter into the prepared pan and level the top with a spatula.
Step 10
Bake for 18-20 minutes for moist and fudgy brownies (for more cake-like/firm brownies bake for 3-4 more minutes).
Step 11
Remove pan to a cooling rack and let cool before cutting into squares.
