Instructions
Step 1
In a medium sized pot, melt the chocolate chips, butter, and coconut oil. Stir constantly until all is thoroughly melted and mixed. Turn off any element, and remove pot from burner.

Step 2
In a medium sized bowl, mix all DRY ingredients together. This includes baking powder, baking soda, flour (reg and oat), and salt. Mix until all ingredients are together.

Step 3
In a large sized bowl, mix all the wet ingredients (vanilla extract, milk, eggs, pears). Mix it all well. Then, using an electric mixer, blend the ingredients so that the pears get a consistency of puree.

Step 4
Add the bowl of dry ingredients, to the bowl of wet ingredients, and blend together well. This will be the dough. Add in the butter mixture as well.

Step 5
In a square cake pan, oil it with extra virgin olive oil using a paper towel. Do this until the pan is all oiled. (Edges included).

Step 6
Pre-heat oven to 360 degrees Fahrenheit.

Step 7
Once the oven beeps, to tell you that it is pre-heated, place the pan, with cake batter, in the oven. Bake for about 15 minutes. A col bakers tip, is to using a knife, stick into the cake if it comes out clean, it is done, if not it needs longer in the oven.

Step 8
Once done, let sit for 10 minutes.
