Ingredients

500 gramsshiitake mushroom
chopped
10puff pastry
round shells
20 gramsbutter
1onion
small, finely chopped
3 clovesgarlic
finely chopped
1 teaspoonfresh oregano
2 tablespoonsflour
½ teaspoonlemon juice
½ cupwhipping cream
½ teaspoonsalt
¼ teaspoonblack pepper
¼ cupmozzarella cheese
shredded
1 tablespoonfresh thyme
for garnish
Instructions
Step 1
Melt the butter in a large frying pan over medium heat, Add the onion, garlic and mushrooms, saute until the liquid evaporates, then add the flour, whisking until smooth.

Cook for 1 minute, stir in the lemon juice, oregano, stirring then add the cream and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture is thickened and bubbly.

Stir in the salt and pepper, remove from heat.

Preheat the oven to 200°C . place the puff pastry shells on a parchment-lined baking sheet and cook for 15 minutes.

Pull out of oven and take out the centers of the pastry shells.
Step 6
Place a teaspoon of the filling in the center, sprinkle mozzarella cheese, repeat with the remaining pastry and filling.

Reduce heat on oven to 125°C and bake the filled pastry for 5 more minutes, until sides and bottoms are browned.

Garnish with fresh thyme or dill and serve.
