Ingredients
6 servings

0.75 lbground beef

1onion
chopped

1 x 10 ozcan tomato soup

1 ½ cupflour

3 tspbaking powder
1can vegetable
peas, green beans or corn, etc

1 tspsalt

¼ cupshortening

⅔ cupmilk

½ cupcheese
grated, optional
Instructions
Step 1
Brown ground beef with onion, drain.
Step 2
Stir in soup and canned vegetables.
Step 3
Pour into 10 inch pie plate
Step 4
Combine flour, baking powder, salt and cheese.
Step 5
Cut in Shortening until fine.
Step 6
Add milk all at once stirring with a fork to make a soft sticky dough.
Step 7
Turn onto lightly floured board and knead lightly into a ball. Roll or pat out to a 10 inch circle.
Step 8
Place on top of beat mixture in pie plate.
Step 9
Bake at 425F for 15-20 min. or until topping is baked. To serve, turn upside down on a large plate and cut into wedges.
