Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350º and grease a casserole dish with bacon fat, just rub some bacon pieces around the dish.
Step 2
Combine pork and beans, ketchup, brown sugar, mustard, and chopped onions in a casserole dish.
Step 3
If not dark enough add more ketchup. If not sweet enough add more brown sugar.
Step 4
Scatter bacon pieces evenly over top.
Step 5
Bake for at least an hour, until not soupy and edges look dry.
