Portuguese Egg Tarts (Macau-style)
4 steps
Prep:15minCook:20min
Portuguese egg tarts are popular in Macau/ Hong Kong but the flaky tart shells can feel intimating. The great news is, many Asian grocery stores sell frozen flaky tart shells, so if you can find them, it makes this recipe a breeze that’s suitable even for beginners.
This recipe makes only 5 tarts, so double it if you would like more.
