Lemon Syrup
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven 180 degrees

Line loaf tin
Step 3
Place eggs and sugar in food processor for 2 mins scraping down sides once

Drop pieces of butter into mixture along with ]emon rind will thicken
Step 5
Add milk and flour and salt mix well until smooth scrap down sides as necessary

Spoon into prepared tin

Cook for 45 mins
Step 8
Remove from oven leave in tin
To make syrup
Step 9
Heat icing sugar with lemon juice allow to clear will take about 3mins. Do not boil.
Step 10
Prick top of cake (I use chopstick may use fork) gently pour some of the syrup over cake.

Allow to cool in tin then carefully turn out
To Serve

warm cake and pour more syrup, serve with pure cream
