Instructions

Step 1
1. Preheat your oven to 180.c. In a large bowl add your flour, butter and slat. Using your finger tips rub in the butter into the flour until it looks like bread crumbs. 2. Using a palette knife of s metal spoon, stir in the cold water until it forms a dough why you try and form a dough with your hands, if it’s still crumbling or cracking add more water. 3. Lightly grease your tart tin or cupcake tin with butter. 4. Lightly flour your surface and rolling pin, role out your pastry dough until slightly bigger than the thickness of a one pound coin. Then cut into circles, place them into the tin, press down lightly and then add the jam, make sure it can’t over fill because when they are in the oven they are going to bubble and if they do spill they will look messy!! ( if you have some left over pastry, cut out some shapes and place on top. 5. Bake for 15 minutes or until the pastry is cooked ( until the pastry is firm and dosent move). Once cooked leave in the tin ( DO NOT TAKE THEM OUT, THEY WILL BE TO HOT AND THE JAM WILL SPILL!!!) 6. Once cooled enjoy, make sure to have more than one !!
