4chicken breasts
large, boiled and chopped into bite size pieces
1 packagefrozen mixed vegetables
or just peas and carrots if preferred, cover veggies with water in a saucepan and boil for about 5 minutes, then drain
1 cancream of chicken soup
½ cupmilk
2% is best
freshly ground black pepper
to taste
2 cupsbaking mix
or Jiffy
1egg
0.75 stickmargarine
melted
Instructions
Step 1
Stir all ingredients for filling together and pour into a 9x13 baking dish that has been sprayed with PAM. Use enough milk to make it pretty soupy.
Step 2
Mix ingredients for crust and beat about 5 strokes until most lumps are gone.
Step 3
Spoon crust mixture in heaping teaspoonfuls on top of the chicken mixture. Don't worry about covering the filling completely. The crust mixture will spread during baking.
Step 4
Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes, or until filling is bubbly and crust is browned.
