Spiced Apple Mustard Glaze

2 steps
Prep:2minCook:1min
We've been making this for corned beef and cabbage as long as I can remember, but it's also a really great glaze on ham. The toughest thing is just finding (or making, if you are so fortunate as to have the time) apple jelly, which is not carried anywhere near me EXCEPT by the Raley's a town over, which is where we got the recipe. It's super easy to make: 3 ingredients and a microwave are all you need, but you can also prepare it on the stove.

Instructions

Step 1
All you need to do is mix the ingredients in a microwave-safe bowl and put it in the microwave for no more than 15 seconds (less than 10, with a high-wattage microwave). Take it out, blend it thoroughly with a fine fork or whisk, and pour over the meat of your choosing.
Step 2
Don't have apple jelly? I've found orange marmalade works marvelously as well and pairs better with poultry than the apple.
