1 TBSPdry onion flakes hea

Instructions
Step 1
In large sauce pan combine butter, onion flakes, salt and pepper. Cook on medium high until butter is melted and onion flakes have browned. Add flour and cook several minutes or until flour takes in a light brown color or starts to smell nutty. Add milk. Stir and scrap bottom of pain until sauce thickens and is smooth with no lumps of flour. In a 13 x 9 purex, place a layer of sauce on the bottom of the baking dish. Place several layers of potatoes then more sauce until all sauce and potatoes are used. I quadruple the sauce recipe. I slice the potatoes thin on a mandolin. I put two layers of potatoes, overlapping slightly then sauce and continue till baking dish is full. Microwave for 10 min, then rotate and microwave additional 10 min. Place in 350 degree oven x 1 hour or until knife easily inserted into middle.
