Spanish Rice Recipe

Used tomato soup and was still very good

Added fresh diced roma tomatoes. Used brown minute rice for the base.

Add more water and cook longer.

So good! Definitely only use 3 cups of water/chicken broth. I cooked in chicken broth.

It was really good. I used 3 cups of broth like others suggested and I used salsa instead of tomato sauce.

Good recipe. Great in a rice cooker. Just need to adjust the amount of chicken stock going in.

Be careful with the cumin! Still really good

Growing up my Mom made Spanish rice all the time and I never liked it. Too tomato forward. This recipe I like. Except for the fact I had to use about a tablespoon of dried flaked cilantro I made this almost as written. After reading many reviews I followed the suggestion of only using 3 cups of broth, actually homemade chicken stock. Perfect. 4 cups and it would have been soup.

This recipe was good. I added some sliced manzanilla olives with pimento. This recipe was made in the instant pot.

Everyone liked it except one child that doesn’t like tomatoes to begin with. I think it was even better the next day heated up

Use beef bouillon. Add frozen bell peppers before covering × 30 mins.

It was so delicious. I added 3 whole cloves garlic, diced and the juice of 1 lime. A new family favorite!

I added Rotel and made it in my rice cooker and it turned out awesome!

I put this in my instapot. I sautéed the rice and added onion powder. I cut the water to 3 cups and added a can of rotel tomatoes and cooked for 6 minutes. Turned out perfect.

After reading the reviews here that said this was bland, I added a sazón packet and a bit of adobo. It was delicious. Oh, also it took WAY less than 40 minutes for my rice to be done. Glad I checked after 15-20.

I added a can of Rotel Diced Tomatoes to this recipe and my family loved it. Will definitely make this again.

Was disappointed with how bland this was. Lacked flavor and tasted like "normal rice" to be honest. Not like Mexican style rice at all.

Best Spanish rice I've had. This doesn't have as much tomato flavor which is why I enjoyed it over other recipes I've tried.

I used beef boullion instead of chicken, and a full can of tomato sauce. Amazing. I can’t eat tacos without this anymore. I’ve made this just about weekly since I found the recipe.

I would add a dash of Oregano to add a bit more of flavor. Otherwise it was amazing!

This was so delicious! I followed the recipe but I saw someone but 3 cups instead of 4 and I did that and it came out perfect!

Wowza, taste like restaurant style Spanish rice!! We like our rice less mushy so I used 3.5 cups of water instead of 4 which turned out great. The rice cooked in 30 minutes and was a great component to our burritos.

I didn't have tomato sauce so I used canned diced tomatoes and it worked great, super yummy!
