Instructions

Step 1
In a medium sized heavy saucepan, heat 15 ml of oil and then add the pork and sprinkle piri piri over top and mix. Followed by browning the meat gently for 4-6 minutes and keep stirring to minimise the meat sticking to the bottom of the pot. Then, add the onions, mushrooms, thyme and garlic to the top and continue to stir for 5 minutes.
Step 2
Add the gravy mixture and cook for a further 25 minutes on a medium heat with the lid on.
Step 3
Then, add the butter beans and BBQ sauce and continue to cook for a further 20 minutes on a low heat.
Step 4
Serve with steamed rice or mash potato.
