Instructions

Step 1
1. In a bowl stir up the flour, sugar, and salt. Then add the butter and cream cheese. Beat it as fast as you can until it’s nice and crumbly. Then add the water and keep beating until it turns into a smooth dough. 2. Take your dough ball and divide it into two pieces. Flatten each piece and wrap it in clear wrap. Put put it some where nice and cold for about 3 hours. 3. Get you oven nice and hot - 375 degrees Fahrenheit. 4. Sprinkle some flour on your table and roll it out the door so it’s about 1/8 of an inch thick. Then cut circles out of the dough. The circles should be about 2 1/2 inches wide. Using a cookie cutter or - even a glass turned upside down - works! Place your dough circles on a baking sheet. 5. Put 1/2 teaspoons of jelly or jam into the center of each circle. Lift up the edges and pinch them together at three points to form triangles. Pinch them very tightly so they don’t let the jelly out when there baking! 6. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the edges are ever so lightly browned. Let them cool before you eat them or you’ll burn your tongue!
