Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 375F. Line a muffin pan with liners.
Step 2
In a bowl, combine flour, cacao powder, sugar, baking soda and salt together.
Step 3
In a separate bowl, combine flax egg, applesauce, and coconut oil together. Slowly add in flour mixture. Combine well. Fold in ½ cup chocolate chips.
Step 4
Pour into muffin pans, about 3/4th of the way full. Sprinkle each muffin with the remaining ¼ chocolate chips. Bake for 15 minutes. Enjoy while warm!
