Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 325°F.
Step 2
Line baking sheets.
Step 3
Beat butter & sugar on medium until fluffy (1-2 min).
Step 4
Add salt, vanilla & egg.
Step 5
Beat until combined (1 min)
Step 6
Reduce speed to low & gradually add flour until mostly combined.
Step 7
Transfer dough to cookie press (or piping bag).
Step 8
Pipe cookies into line baking sheets.
Step 9
Sprinkle with extra sugar if desired.
Step 10
Bake one pan at a time until light golden brown (15 min).
Step 11
Cool completely.
Step 12
Store at room temp 1 week or freezer 3 months.
