Step 1
Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add in green beans and boil for three minutes. Drain and set aside. In a large skillet melt butter add garlic sauté until fragrant. Add flour and whisk for one minute. Slowly whisk in broth then whisk in half-and-half. Add in salt and pepper. Continue to whisk until the mixture thickens up. Once thickened add green beans. Stir well and place the mixture into a baking dish sprayed with nonstick spray. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes remove from the oven top with fried onions and bake an additional 10 minutes then serve!
