Instructions
Step 1
1. In saucepan on medium heat, combine olive oil and garlic and stir until warmed and fragrant (about 30 seconds).
Step 2
2. Add flour and whisk together until flour has soaked up all the oil.
Step 3
3. Slowly add stock in and allow to thicken.
Step 4
4. Whisk in remaining ingredients (almond milk, nutritional yeast, salt, and pepper) and stir occasionally. Allow sauce to thicken. To see if sauce is thick enough, dip back of spoon in and swipe your finger through it. If swipe stays, then thick enough.
Step 5
Note: Sauce will thicken more as it cools.
