Ingredients

½ cupbutter
melted

½ cupbrown sugar

⅔ cupswhite sugar

2eggs
room temperature

1 Tbspvanilla

¾ cupsall-purpose flour

⅔ cupsunsweetened cocoa powder

½ tspsalt

5strawberries
sliced thinly
1 cupmilk and dark chocolate chunks
plus more for topping
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°F and line an 8x8 square pan with parchment paper. Set aside.
Step 2
In a large bowl, whisk melted butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until well combined.
Step 3
Add in vanilla and eggs and continue whisking for 2 minutes until pale.
Step 4
Add in flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gently fold in until no flour streaks appear. Do not overmix.
Step 5
Add in sliced strawberries and milk and dark chocolate chunks. Fold a few times.
Step 6
Spread the brownie batter evenly in the prepared pan. Top with extra berries and chocolate pieces. Bake for 20-22 minutes. The brownies will be ready when a toothpick inserted comes out moist with crumbs.
Step 7
Allow the brownies to cool before slicing and enjoy!
