Ingredients

1 ⅔ cupall-purpose flour

¾ cupgranulated sugar

1 teaspoonbaking soda

½ teaspoonbaking powder

1 teaspoonground cinnamon
½ teaspoonground nutmug

½ teaspoonsalt

2eggs

½ cupmaple syrup

½ cupcoconut oil
melted

1 cupapple butter

1 teaspoonvanilla extract

½ cupmilk

apple
optional mix-ins, diced

walnuts
chopped, or pecans

½ cuppowdered sugar

1 tablespoonmilk
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Step 2
In a large bowl combine flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt
Step 3
In a separate bowl whisk together eggs, maple syrup, coconut oil, apple butter, vanilla and milk
Step 4
Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and combine well. Fold in any nuts or apple pieces, if using
Step 5
Pour batter into greased loaf pan and bake for 45-50 minutes, when a toothpick comes out clean
Step 6
Allow to cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to cooling rack for another 10+ minutes before adding glaze
Step 7
To make the glaze, whisk powdered sugar and milk until a smooth consistency, adding more milk if needed
Step 8
Pour glaze over loaf, slice and enjoy!
