Step 1
Heat a large skillet over medium-high for about 2 minutes. Drizzle in some oil, then add the diced onions and jalapeños. Sprinkle with a pinch of salt to help release the juices. Sauté, stirring frequently, until the onions start browning. Push the veggies to one side, leaving space for the steak.
Step 2
Add a bit more oil if needed, then toss in the shaved steak. Season with granulated garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and salt to taste. Let the steak cook, tossing occasionally, until no pink remains. Once done, mix the steak and veggies together.
Step 3
Layer the slices of cheese over the steak mixture, then cover with a lid. Let the cheese melt completely, then turn off the heat, remove the lid, and stir to combine. Finish by folding in the minced parsley. Transfer the filling to a bowl and let it cool.
Step 4
Position an egg roll wrapper in front of you, with one corner facing you like a diamond. Add a few tablespoons of the filling, placing it slightly closer to you. Dip your fingers in water and wet the edges of the wrapper.
Step 5
Fold the edge of the egg roll closest to you back over the filling. Once it covers the filling, bring up the two side ends and press them into the top. Once they are affixed, continue rolling the egg roll until it's rolled up, keeping these tight. Place in the freezer or fridge while you heat the oil.
Step 6
Heat oil to 365°F. Fry the egg rolls for 3-6 minutes, or until golden and bubbly. Drain on a wire rack and serve hot. Dassit!
