Instructions
Step 1
Carefully crack an egg into a microwave-safe dish sprayed with your favorite cooking spray. Remove any pieces of shell that may have fallen in.
Step 2
Season the egg with a pinch of salt and pepper to add flavor. You can also add other seasonings or herbs, such as garlic powder, paprika, or chopped chives, if you’re into it.
Step 3
Cook the egg in the microwave on high for 45 seconds, but be sure to check on it after 30 seconds to prevent overcooking. The clear part of the egg should turn white, but the yolk should still be soft and jiggly.
Step 4
Once the egg is cooked, use a rubber spatula to slide it around the dish and transfer it onto a slice of toast or serve it alongside your favorite breakfast foods. Be careful when handling the dish, as it may be hot.
