Chicken Cobbler

This is an 'okay' recipe with a few tweaks. 1) I probably used 5 cups of chicken, cubed. 2) I added 1/2 tsp of dried thyme, dried parsley and poultry seasoning 3) I only used about 13 oz. of chicken broth instead of 16 oz. 4) I added the biscuit seasoning packet into the dough. I'd rather have that flavor throughout the dough than just dressed on top. 5) I added half the seasoning to the soup mixture and half I mix with the chicken. If I make this again I'll up the seasoning throughout, including seasoning the biscuit mix. I wasn't over excited about the "gravy" it made. Not enough taste or substance. Might try doing half broth and half heavy cream next time. So I thought about this for a few days and I decided it is too much work for very little flavor. I'll just stick with traditional pot pie.

It needs a little more flavor, so next time I will add some ground thyme and celery seed. I will also use less chicken broth.
