Matcha Cookies - Checkerboard Pattern

Not a perfect recreation, but they taste great

I added a little egg white and vanilla essence to help hold the dough together a little more but other than that, they're gorgeous :)

This recipe produced a delicious and simple butter cookie with the right touch of match! This was not too sweet and paired well with my morning coffee! The presentation is stunning. I was able to freeze the dough log and bake them over the course of a couple of days! While tedious, it is rewarding to create & bake!
