based on others' notes, i read over the recipe several times and realized there's no white pepper or 5 spice ... i added them. the sweet component was also missing from this version. used mirin instead of vinegar. id def use a pinch of sugar next time.
also made apricot sauce to top, added picked ginger slices on the side
