Hawaiian Grilled Teriyaki Chicken

Once I boiled the marinade for 10 minutes, I put some in a container for basting the chicken while grilling and then added a cornstarch and water mixture to the rest of the marinade to thicken it up for the cooked chicken for serving.

I used liquid aminos instead of soy sauce. Turned out very salty. Will use less next time. Also had to add some cornstarch to thicken up the sauce a bit. It wouldn't thinken on its own.

It is delicious. I marinated it overnight and grilled it. It was great with rice.
