Bacon wrapped dates with goat cheese are an easy, three-ingredient game day appetizer that are also perfect for holiday parties!

Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350F.
Step 2
Slice the dates on one side lengthwise to remove the pit and any stem at the top. Discard the pit.
Step 3
Place a couple teaspoons of goat cheese into the center of the date and close the date.
Step 4
Cut the bacon slices in half.
Step 5
Wrap the bacon around the date and secure it with a toothpick.
Step 6
Place of bacon dates on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Step 7
Bake for 10 minutes.
Step 8
After the 10 minutes, flip the dates and bake for another 8 – 10 minutes.
Step 9
Transfer the baked dates to a serving plate.
Step 10
Optional: heat up your honey and drizzle it on top of the dates. This adds an extra layer of sweetness which is totally unnecessary and extra delicious!
